Between 2026 and 2035, Vietnam is entering a new era of railway development, driven by a series of major infrastructure projects, including the North-South High-Speed Railway, the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong Railway, and metro systems in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. This period demands significant investment in infrastructure, advanced technologies, signalling systems, operational management, and digital transformation, while creating growing opportunities for international cooperation, technology transfer, and supply chain development.

Against this backdrop, the 2nd International Exhibition & Summit on Modern Railway Technology and Infrastructure Construction Supply Chain in Vietnam - VRT&CON' 2026 will take place from 08 - 10 October 2026 at Hall 4, Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC). The event aims to serve as a leading platform for technology exchange and business networking, contributing to the modernization and sustainable development of Vietnam's railway system.

Building on the success of its inaugural edition, VRT&CON' 2026 will feature an expanded exhibition scale and enhanced programme. Covering approximately 10,000 square metres, the exhibition will host more than 300 booths from nearly 200 organizations, corporations, and enterprises, with an expected attendance of 15,000 - 18,000 trade visitors and industry professionals. Around 70% of exhibitors will come from countries with advanced railway industries, including the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, South Korea, France, China, Sweden, and Spain, alongside Vietnamese enterprises, research institutes, universities, and technology startups.

More than a railway technology exhibition, VRT&CON' 2026 combines an international exhibition, a railway technology conference, live technology demonstrations, and B2B matchmaking programmes to create a comprehensive platform for industry stakeholders. Participants will have the opportunity to showcase innovative products and solutions, exchange expertise, explore strategic partnerships, and strengthen international collaboration.
