Within the framework of the 1st International Exhibition & Summit on Modern Railway Technology and Infrastructure Construction Supply Chain in Vietnam (VRT&CON’2025), Hoa Phat Group is presenting a range of specialized steel products tailored for railway projects, including high-speed rail tracks, urban railway rails, structural steel, and prestressed steel. The exhibition is being held from November 12 to 15, 2025, at Hall H3, National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi).

Hoa Phat unveils high-speed rail steel at international railway expo

This is the first international exhibition dedicated to the railway and infrastructure sector ever held in Vietnam. During the exhibition, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Danh Huy and other delegates visited the Hoa Phat Group booth. The Ministry’s leadership highly commended Hoa Phat’s steel production capabilities, particularly regarding specialized steel products tailored for transport infrastructure and railway development.

"To realize our vision of building a modern railway system, we rely on the collaboration, support, and partnership of businesses across the supply chain, guided by the principle: Your success is our success," the Ministry of Construction’s leadership stated at the exhibition.

Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Danh Huy and representatives from various ministries visited Hoa Phat’s display of high-speed rail tracks, structural steel, and prestressed steel.

Mr. Dang Van Trung, from Ha Thanh Trading and Technology Development Co., Ltd., remarked: "I am thoroughly impressed by Hoa Phat’s high-speed rail steel. The successful production of this product clearly demonstrates the capability and stature of a leading industrial group."

Hoa Phat Group's booth features a range of specialized steel products designed for railway projects, including high-speed rail tracks, urban railway rails, structural steel, and prestressed steel.

Hoa Phat is currently developing a specialized Rail and Structural Steel Manufacturing Plant in Dung Quat. The facility will produce high-value steel products, such as high-speed rail tracks, urban railway rails, crane rails, and various structural steel shapes (U, I, H, V), alongside other specialized steel grades. The plant is scheduled to commence production of rail steel by 2027, catering to Vietnam’s key national railway projects and expanding into international markets.

As the largest steel manufacturer in Southeast Asia and ranked among the Top 30 largest steel enterprises globally, Hoa Phat has achieved an annual production capacity of 16 million tons as of 2026. This capacity is primarily focused on Hot-Rolled Coils (HRC) and high-quality steel, contributing significantly to meeting domestic and global market demands.

According to the Organizing Committee, VRT&CON’2025 brings together nearly 90 domestic and international enterprises and organizations from Germany, China, South Korea, Japan, Austria, Thailand, Malaysia, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and other regions. Centered on the theme "The Future of Vietnam’s Railway in the Global Supply Chain," the exhibition takes place from November 12 to 15, 2025, at the National Exhibition Center in Dong Anh, Hanoi.
